Kudos for taking this first step toward starting your therapeutic journey. Choosing a therapist is a very personal and can sometimes be a confusing process. I recognize that finding a therapist that is a good fit for your needs is important but not always easy! In my practice, I believe that establishing a genuine and collaborative relationship is vital. I work to establish a safe, judgement-free environment where you feel heard. I utilize an integrative approach drawing from psychodynamic, trauma focused, feminist, and strengths-based practices, tailoring to and honoring the unique needs of each client.

I bring an intersectional lens to my work, am body positive, kink-friendly, poly-friendly, am in full support of all sex workers and feel very strongly about providing affirming care in queer and trans communities. I love working with teens and adults alike. I have a deep knowledge and passion around healing from sexual assault and abuse. I also have many years’ experience working in the HIV positive community and feel strongly about providing competent care to individuals living with HIV.

If you are like many of us, you may be dealing with some traumas that you have experienced in your lifetime. This could include some sort of loss, child-hood traumas, accidents, violence, sexual abuse, sexual assault and more. When we talk about trauma, we really are talking about any deeply disturbing event or situation that may have overwhelmed your ability to cope. These experiences can cause feelings of helplessness, diminish your sense of self and your ability to feel a full range of emotions and experiences. I am trained in trauma-informed care as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as parts work and am committed to providing a safe environment to recover and heal.
